I don’t really watch coronation street regularly anymore, we used to watch it if we were in but not really watched it for a while. Seen a bit this week but have just watched the whole episode this evening. Such an emotional episode. I’m not normally someone to be affected by TV programmes but found this really sad. Hoping the storyline raises awareness about the importance of regular smear tests

It was a really hard watch,I've never really rated her as an actress,but she was exceptional with this storyline.

I watched it, it was sad and the actress playing Sinead was very good. Here circumstances were a bit different because she put off chemo because she was pregnant, the baby lived but she didn’t.

Off topic but the Cancer consultant was my sons Drama teacher at Uni.

Funnily enough I have just read a news story on how local GPs have reported that a lot of smear tests bookings have been made whilst this storyline gas been on tv. Can only be a good thing.
