Is your partner good at DIY or a walking disaster?

My DH was brilliant at DIYand a perfectionist especially with wallpaper hanging
He wouldn't touch plumbing though
He said things could go wrong too quickly
DS however is as useless as I am
Since DH died we haven't attempted very much apart from a bit of basic painting so it's been a case of getting someone in to do it

She’s really good! Me, I’m absolutely awful.

However, if you look at the other side of things, she’s absolutely awful at cooking (cooked 4 times in 7 years and we’ve had two minor fires) where as I’m brilliant at that!

If you came round ours on a Sunday, you’d probably find her doing the DIY and me doing the Sunday roast! It works for us...

We make a good team, we do all our own stuff, recently fitted new bathroom and kitchen and also put a ceiling in the conversatory. I'm also good at wall papering, but I actually hate doing it. Only had tradesman in to do the plastering.
