BA group booking seat allocation

We are travelling in the summer as a group of 10 ( on the same booking) with BA.
BA website says they will allocate seats free of charge for groups of 9 or more and try to seat together.
Just wondering what experiences people have had with flight seat allocation when travelling as a group with BA?

Have you looked at the seat map already to see if they've been allocated?

We have booked as a package through Charter Travel so don’t yet have a BA log in. I will certainly check as soon as I have that- good idea, thanks.

So are you a single group of 9 or is charter travel putting you in a group with others ?

We are a family group of 10 people. 5 adults, 4 teenagers and a 7 year old.
Helpful to know that others have been allocated seats together.

I have booked via a travel counselor and have just recently paid the balance on our holiday. Now our flights have been ticketed I have been able to select seats. Didn't want split seating for such a long journey!
