ESTA - Parents Name

Hi,
Quick question as never remember. When I get to add parents details, do I enter my mothers maiden name or her married name?

The name she�s known by now, it really doesn�t matter as they don�t check on this. I think it�s for one of the security questions they ask �May� ask you. As long as you know what you put down it�s fine.

I put my Mum�s name as it is now, as that is what it was when I was born and what is on her passport.

I've applied many times in the past but just couldn't remember and went into panic mode.
