to be honest i'm quite shocked at how expensive the tickets have become now. I also think that these price increases would have happened regardless of Brexit.
You've only got to look at how WDW are charging for 'extras' i.e. the magic kingdom cabanas, after hours events. Its such a shame because i would love to go more often.

On a side note it might be worth looking into the annual passes if you are staying for longer than 2 weeks, they may work out slightly more but you may then be able to squeeze in a second trip before they run out therefore getting your moneys worth

We've paid a deposit with Orlando Attraction Tickets for Universal. Due to the price hike we've decided not to Disney this time

We paid £483 pp for 14 days Disney, Universal, Seaworld, BG etc in 2015. The cheapest I've seen the same combo tickets now is £606.

You can get it for £595 from floridaescapes.co.uk if you use the code super10saver at the checkout, or if you prefer orlandoattractiontickets.co.uk £597, if you use the code mse5.

Still quite expensive though.

The price increases and poor exchange rate are exactly why we're considering onsite next year.

With 14 day ultimate costing so much more than they did previously, we might as well make sure they include all of our food - that way we'll have to bring much less cash with us

Now if only April would hurry up to see what these deals look like this year!

We decided that we don't want to pay the extra, and are planning on the few days in Universal & BG (due to "inclement weather" our BG experience last time consisted of 1 ride before the most spectacular storm hit. We had a lovely day watching nature's lightening show, stuffing our faces and drinking beer (except for me as the designated driver but the storm didn't pass and they closed the park). It is more economical to go for the 14 day combo for what we want.

We are planning on doing so much more outside theme parks this time.

Hi all again

Thanks for all your responses.

We made the decision to cancel our 2 night stay at Cabana Bay as

1) I will have to wait until closer the time to see if I can afford both sets of tickets...but is it right to spend more than the flights and accom together on just tickets?

2) As a matter of principal as I didn't realise they still charge $12.00 fr parking per night even as a guest. Felt this took the mickey (ahhhahahahahahahahahahah) as Disney don't (ahhahahahahah).

As much as I tire of Seaworld (and my wife was put off because of Blackfish ((I saw the documentary and read all the conflicting arguments so I'm meh))) I may opt for the 14 day Seaworld and Busch tickets as I've not been to BG since I was 14... so 14 years lol.

It's a shame as I've heard people on and off site now saying 'well now you an only afford Disney or Universal' or 'this will be our last ever holiday to Florida with how much more expensive it has become.'

I don't feel like anything except for the parks have become more expensive. Not the food, shopping etc anything because even at 1.25 to the pound it's still cheap.

Sad times.

I'm guessing you haven't been for a while. Its very expensive now for families.

£28 for a subway meal deal (family of 4) compared to £14 in UK. Same for McDonalds etc

Totally agree with you, go with what suits you best.

I know this time will probably be my last as It's getting too expensive, so I'm trying to do as much as I can.

We paid $23 for a family of 4 to eat in Wendy's, 2 son of a baconator combos and 2 kids meals, at today's exchange rate that's £17, I don't think that's bad at all.

Unfortunately its not cheap anymore, Everything out there works out more expensive from electrical goods to clothes and food, at the best I found stuff costing the same as the uk now
