Aug/Sept 2019
We're looking to start planning our third trip
Previously we've visited in February and taken our 2 boys out of school for the first week but now my eldest is at secondary school we're planning on going the last week in August/first week in September. My question would be when would be the best time to book? I looked at the Virgin Flydrive prices and they were showing at a ridiculous price of £4700 Previously we've paid £3600 for flights, car hire and Disney tickets so I'm hoping this price is just because the flights have only just been released? I know going in august is going to cost more but surely not that much? |

As you're going in 2019 the flights won't actually be released yet, the flights won't actually be released until about 11 months before, so at the moment the package / fly drive prices will not be very good value. Always worth checking regularly in case they do a sale if you're going for a package holiday though

Last year we booked direct through Disney as they had the best price.
I waited until about 6-8 months before departure to book the flights separately. It was was cheaper to go 2 days earlier and pay for another hotel on our previous two visits. First time was on IDrive, second time was Universal RPR. I'm waiting now to do the same for next year for the last two weeks in August 2019. We'll probably end up doing the Universal hotel again.

Thanks everyone.
I've booked flights through Thomas Cook as they seemed to be a good price - I got 2 adults and 2 children for under £2000. I'm hoping that I haven't been over eager! We've previously flown with Virgin and although TC probably isn't as good for the price we can't complain |
