Dear god that is ridiculous and you wouldn’t even be able to pick your own villa 😳. I would honestly wait and DIY it and with the money saved put it towards your spends
There are some amazing villas out there, it looks a daunting task at first but you’re on the best website to help you out 😃

Yes I think its doable. May have to look out for a bargain flight or go indirect (saved us £3500 for 8 people).

My friend just paid £300 pp on Virgin direct in September, so they are out there if you look. Good luck

There were some great fly drive prices for Glasgow/Edinburgh via Gatwick with BA not long after the flights were released for October 2018 and in the December sale. At one point even over school holidays was around 400 per person for fly drive and BA has no hidden car insurance prices. Also their accomodation prices can be quite competitive too and I think unless prices rocket for next year or you need to go direct it will definitely be doable.

I remember being gutted as I couldn't book at that point as had to wait until had an op and outcome known and by them prices had rocketed.

I'm not meaning to scare but there are lots of uninsured drivers in Florida, god forbid you get in a crash that requires one or more of you to have hospital treatment ensure you have adequate coverage.

I have a friend who was gloating she got cheap insurance through her bank. I read the coverage for worldwide assistance and the medical coverage is MAX 100 000€

Honestly 100 000 is peanuts in the states I'm surprised they can even offer a worldwide policy with such low values.

My insurance covers me for 1 000 000€ and includes repatriation as soon as possible after an accident.

I'm not saying you aren't covered but I'd check the limits on it.

To the OP I think you'll get a good holiday for 10K not including spends. the villa price will depend on how far from Disney you choose.
Off topic but for travel to USA it is recommended you have medical cover of £10million

This is the cost of our next trip in July. Family of four. Kids are 19 and 16 so for price purposes 4 adults. We will also need 3 two way Uber trips to Universal and the Outlets and I anticipate up to $500 for tips. Then spending money.

£9,869 Disney Beach Club Garden View, free dining, 14 day tickets and Virgin direct economy flights.
£120 Manchester Meet and Greet parking.
£418 Radisson Blu Family Room
£996 Universal Tickets 14 day 3 Park
£398 Portofino Bay Hotel one night
£280 Virgin reserved seats both ways

Total £12,081

Try not to lose heart! I think the prices are particularly high at the minute, think easter sales are looming!

DIY probably best way to go. X

I have found Virgins quotes much more expensive than others eg Charter and Kenwood (who we used instead after our first two trips). To give an example Virgin quoted £8700, and Charter came in with same Disney resort/free dining/tickets and exactly the same virgin direct flights, but for 1400 less!
if you don’t want to DIY try shoppong around first? you might be able to find a better price in budget.
