Disney tickets via Disney directly

Has anyone purchased tickets via the disneyworld site? Its an e-ticket rather than a card. Can you link them to your magic bands via the as you can with the card?

We rang disney america direct and paid over the phone ,they were linked to MDE in minutes,they also emailed me the invoice with the ref numbers to link them myself incase they didntt link!

We bought a one day ticket and it linked no problem the only thing you need to remember is that you have to have the card you paid with when you collect the ticket (this was 2 years ago and it might have changed now)

I've bought Theme park tickets only from the UK Walt Disney Travel site and was able to link them ok to MDE

We bought annual Disney tickets online the other day and they were immediately linked into MDE. We will collect the magic bands from disney springs guest services in 9 weeks.
