That’s really good. I was having a look at those flights but we don’t drive but I’ve just seen you would get an Uber like we would. It opens up more flights options! Thanks for posting.

We've also booked 15th August - 1st September. Hadn't realised we could get an Uber from Tampa. Has anyone done this? Might be another option to consider as we're onsite for our first week. Was thinking of picking a car up for a few days then rehiring later in the trip.

We booked on the Delta website, it seemed even cheaper than Virgin (although we have gone Economy Light)

$100 for an uber? Are you sure? That seems ridiculously cheap!

ETA sorry, misunderstood and thought the Uber was from Atlanta!

We are doing LHR-JFK- Tampa in summer (just booked yesterday). We used Tampa this summer and it is a great airport, so much better than MCO and as arriving domestic then straight off plane, bags and out, we even picked up a rental car and was clear of airport within 1hr.

Counting the days now... 285 to go

I saw these too last night and wasn’t literally about to press the book button, but thought I’d have a quick read up on Atlanta airport first. The vast majority of people on various forums were saying that 2 hours is not enough time for an international layover at Atlanta and some actually missed their connections. I’m wondering whether or not to take the plunge now!
