Well Now You Can...

Introducing theDIBB Guidebook Wiki.

The DIBB Guidebook can be updated, edited and new pages created by you, the DIBB members.

With your help and over time we can create a Guidebook that is what the DIBB members want in a guidebook, not what a single author decides you should have in a guidebook.

Now you, the members, can help out with keeping theDIBB up to date with the latest information.

We have created theDIBB Guidebook Wiki. DIBBers can edit and create new pages for the Guidebook just as easily as writing a forum post.

These pages will be available for all to find and use in their planning. If something is out of date, just edit it! If something is wrong, just change it! All pages are archived so if you make a mistake then we can recover the old page. So it is not a problem, just do it!

Also you can add your own photos into the page to make it look great!

While we are talking about photos. Members can upload their photos into a gallery on the appropriate page for each attraction, for everyone to enjoy.

And there is a comments and reviews section so that members can give some tips or feedback on the attraction/hotel/restaurant etc...

Note:
When uploading photos to the pages can you please make sure you actually upload them to the page rather than just linking to them from an external website. This way if we don't end up with dead images when someone changes the other website.

Another feature is the ability to view all the photo's that a member has uploaded on one page.

If you want to see all your images listed by the page they are on, then click HERE.

You can also view a members images by clicking the link in their posts...

And also while you are viewing the photo's on the page galleries by clicking the little green square photo icon...

You can now rotate images in the gallery. If you find that an image is not the correct orientation after uploading you can now rotate that image to correct it using the 2 rotation arrows as in the image below.



Note:
If you cannot find a category then create a new guidebook page in Uncategorised pages and then we will make a place for it to go.

We have tried to make it easy to use. So go and use it

what a fantastic idea, I am going to sooo enjoy looking through this and I would be chuffed to see one of my own pics in there.

Whoever thought of this-well done you.

There a loads of lovely dibbers who would make a brilliant contribution to this judging by some of the trip reports.
