'Cut Out the Desk' Car Hire
Just a quick one - I am hoping you can advise me on which reputable car hire companies offer 'Cut Out the Desk' at MCO. In the past we have always 'joined the queue' but having read that Alamo offer this service I was wondering who else does.
Alamo's quote is proving to be quite expensive compared to what we have paid in previous years - any recommendations for a reasonable price on a 7 seater minivan? Many thanks in advance. |

Check out car hire through Virgin, find the tab on their page. We paid £508 for a 7 seater van for two weeks in may inc top insurance and 3 drivers !
Straight to garage pick car of your choice and out on under 5 mins. Forgot to add it was with Alamo. |

Credit card advice
Sorry to hijack this thread but a bit of advice from some of the experts on here would be great. I am off to Florida in May (MCO) and have booked a car through Virgin. I checked in successfully on the Alamo website to 'cut out the desk' and saw that I needed to show my credit card when I picked up the car. Thing is, my current card expires in Mar 16 so will it cause a problem when I present a 'new card'? Thanks a lot.

No problems at all. I have done this every 2 or 3 years as my card changes. Also I gave them a different card once as I forgot which one I had booked with!
They really dont care as long as they get a Card in your name!
