anyone BOUGHT tickets from the people that BUY them off you
When we go in march we are only visiting Disney twice and this is magic kingdom. DH don't want to pay £600 for 2 days tickets for the 4 of us and has said how about buying them off the ticket scout shop that we sold our Kennedy space centre tickets to as they had 6 days left on them.
I'm a bit sceptical as no doubt we will pay out for them then not work when we go to use them. His reply was if that was the case they wouldn't be in business, so, anyone used these guys to purchase tickets for the day? Shame we can't swop our universal tickets for Disney ones for the day with someone! lol

I haven't used them but I'd imagine the tickets they sell are proper (unused, unlinked) US-type tickets so they should be fine. I would still be cautious, of course, and recommend checking out Undercover Tourist and Orlando Attractions and the US tickets they offer.
With those tickets you need to mind all the various options and what you want/need. UK tickets are all inclusive, but the US ones offer various prices for various options such as park hopper, multiple parks, etc.

Tickets are non transferable. They're cheap at some of the ticket booths because you have to sit through a timeshare presentation that will take hours.
You can buy tickets at Walmart that are sometimes a few dollars cheaper than on the gate. Edited at 06:06 PM. |

I've got a feeling this conversation might not be allowed and may end up being locked by a mod :-( I don't know but I think it's likely that any ticket that has been linked / part used may not work because of the finger print issue. If a ticket is unlinked / unused then I can't see it being available at much of a discount. I suspect what you say in your OP is correct, there probably isn't much to be gained here and potentially a fair bit to lose . Personally I'd steer well clear.
