Summer holidays 2018

Anyone know exactly when the Floridians start their school summer break in 2018? Can't find the info on Google, I know it's often end May/early June onwards... we are booked last week of May, first week of June and I'm really hoping we will miss their school holidays! Thanks

that however can be different for different areas. Unfortunately its not an exact science.

Update Orange County is May 30 which is taken from Orlando Sentinel.

Specifically for Orange County (where Orlando is) it's May 30th. But generally, expect the summer crowds to arrive from Memorial Day weekend (26-28th May) onwards.

Oh dear thanks though! Will have to make the most of EMH and early starts then! We usually go in September so I think this will be a bit of a shock...

Osceola County (Kissimmee) is almost a week earlier. Last day is the 24th.

Thanks! I always forget about Osceola, we lived in Orange and the kids (Ex-partner's family, not mine!) went to school in Seminole. I just checked their calendar and it's the 25th.

So looks like Orange is the late one of the bunch this year. Kind of surprised they're making the kids go back for two days after Memorial Day, seems a bit pointless.
