BA flight deposit q

Hello. I booked a fly drive with a deposit last year and then found a better deal so paid a deposit on that. If I just don’t pay the balance on the first booking, will they automatically cancel it? Or do I need to call them to cancel? I can’t see how to do it online.

You can't do it online you have to call. My mother in law cancelled her fly drive by phone recently also because she found a better deal. I believe they say holiday will be cancelled if you don't pay the balance but I imagine they would bomb you with emails and it may get confusing if the better deal you got was for the same flights.

The cancellation by phone is very easy. They don't try to keep your custom at all or give you any hard sell.
