Tampa airport meeting place

I’ve only landed at Tampa airport once and can’t remember too much about the layout.

On our trip later this year, we are meeting a family member at Tampa airport. Where would be a good place to meet - is there a shop or feature that we can arrange to meet at?

Tampa airport has expanded recently with the opening of the Skytrain & more newer restaurants & shops.

We flew in & home within the last few weeks.

As the two biggest restaurants, I would recommend meeting outside either the Hard Rock Cafe or PF Changs in the main terminal concourse.

They face each other, have a large open floor space in front of them, will be easy to find or ask directions to, are on the same level floor as the monorail you'll get off from the gates and they're in front of the entrance towards the Skytrain which you'll now need to catch if picking up a rental car.

That’s great - thank you. I was trying to look at the terminal maps and work out where the shops were in relation to arrivals, but just confused myself! It’s great to have first hand experience😊
