Amazing quote 2019
I’ve just received an amazing quote from Charter Travel.
2 weeks villa in Windsor Palms, flights direct from Gatwick with Virgin plus intermediate SUV car with full insurance. 2 adults, 1 teen and 1 child 1st May to 15th May 2019 £3998. I was going to do DIY for next trip but the villa is £1600 so I don’t think I’m going to get flights and the car for £1400. Please correct me if you think this quote is too high. And any information/experience on Charter Travel/Virgin flights would be brilliant 🙂 |

No idea for early May outside of school holidays, but Tui and Thomas Cook will do good prices at that time of year too. Check that the car price includes the insurance and that the flight price includes baggage. Also check the package price against Virgin Holidays, expedia, netflights, Tui, Thomas Cook, BA Holidays etc. And check flight only price on skyscanner and momondo, and flydrive package price on BA Holidays.
If this is still the cheapest and you're happy with allocated on arrival villas (I prefer to pay extra to pick my villa) then go for it. |

If it was a named villa, I'd say it was ok (OK, not fantastic) for that time of year. As it's AoA villa (although the estate is named) I'd say it's on the steep side.

Sounds a bit expensive to me for that time of year I’ve paid much less in August.

Sorry I forgot to mention it is an exact villa not allocated on arrival.
It is £2400 yes not £1400, sorry. I’ve got quotes from all other companies too and they’re teetering on £4500-£5000 so that’s why I thought it was a great price. I’m obviously wrong though |

For those dates, assuming availability, there are 4 bedroom Dibb villas for considerably less than £1600...just seen a few on a quick search for £500/£600 per week.
I'd certainly check out that option before committing yourself. Also TUI flights from Gatwick are working out around £2,000 so add on a car and Dibb villa and I think you could easily do it yourself for around £500 less Edited at 02:31 PM. |

Flight and baggage with tui in May should come to around £300-£320.But don't forget you will have to leave it till last minute for these. Price.We. Usually go in May so always search for the best price.

I have never travelled at that time of year but have seen some fantastic deals from TUI & TC (last minute) But at the end of the day, if you’re happy with the price then go for it.
You will always find better deals if you look as will you always find it at a higher cost too. I can say from experience, that I received fantastic service from Charter Travel in the past. No query no matter how big or small was too much trouble.
