Getting Excited

We went 2 years ago. Family of 4 (kids 5 & 8). Off site. Most often had snack breakfast, kids had cereal.in the room and sometimes ate out, dinner on the go in parks and then tried to have a meal or something better in the eve but depended on where we were and what doing. Still went to rainforest, t rex and places like golden corral, etc for tea. Parking was another consideration and We had a separate budget. We only took $150 per day for food, snacks etc. Kids had their own spending money seperate and me and my hubby set aside $200 each for shopping. We even treated ourselves on things like the dolphin experience in sea world if we fancied it. We still came back with a large amount of dollars too. Eating off side is much cheaper than Disney plan as friends who have done it said food is amazing but the amount that they paid in tips in some restaurants was equivalent of a meal for 4 for us. So decided against it until our kids appreciate food a bit more. You can do.it cheaper if you need to but I know with dollar drop this year we are going to need to increase this by quite a bit too.
