TC flights Aug 2019 - huge price increase

Just checked our flights for Aug 2019 and the prices have massively increased - we paid £1900 and the cost now would be £5300

Anyone know if there is a reason or if it's just down to demand?

How many people is that for. We booked TC flights for next august and they were hugely expensive and I think we paid over the odds.

We’ve found the same for next March. Flights are so much more expensive. I’m hoping they start coming down in price soon.

Most people wait until 11 months out to get the best price.

We booked just over 12 months before last year as the price was very good. For next year, at the moment, the price is double! Definitely waiting until VA release their prices!

We booked last june for this may - lgw to mco x3 premium economy flights for £2100. Since then been checking regularly and the only way the prices gave gone are UP!

2 adults and 2 children. Glad we've booked already - couldn't afford to go at those prices!

I’ve checked the prices again this morning and they’ve come down a bit, not enough though, but hopefully a step in the right direction

Wait until 11 months before your return date. That way all companies flights will be released, and you can see all the prices. I would aim to get indirect for £500 or direct for £700 in the summer. But you can get some bargains. I’ve seen direct BA to Tampa for less than £500 each including car and insurance, for July this year.

We got direct for under £500 at the end of August - thought it was too early to book but glad I went for it
