We go around 4 times within a 2 week holiday and spend 3 or 4 hours there each time. I’m not keen unless it’s a very hot day though so find we use them more if we’re there in the summer.

We went a couple of times at the end of October last year and I felt chilly when walking around once wet.

We go for the whole day, but we both love the water. Hubby loves water parks more than theme parks and would spend every day there if I let him! We do plan them in as rest days but actually find them just as tiring as theme parks if you do the slides! Soooo many steps to climb!

3 hrs is enough in November . Dc is more about the food , relaxing, dolphins and relaxing and peace . Water parks are like sitting by the pool with a thousand kids running riot.

I'm looking forward to a day at Discovery Cove plus spending a few afternoons at Typhoon Lagoon. My health won't allow me to do full days at parks so chilling out on the TL lazy river, wandering around and just generally relaxing there for about 3 hours in the afternoon sets me up for the evenings. On the days I'm not at TL I'll have some pool time at the hotel (POFQ - I have to go down that waterslide!)

Edited at 11:37 PM.

When you go for only 3 hours do you tend to get a locker? Or do you just try and find a sun lounger and leave towel etc there?

We were looking at doing water park in the morning followed by the rest of the day at a park.

However if we get a locker it'll be $15 and then a further $22 to park.

I know in general everything is expensive but if we can avoid paying for a locker Every time we defiently will!

We don’t take anything valuable into a water park . We just leave our towels on loungers and take a bit of cash in a waterproof pouch . We don’t need phones etc in there so no need to take them in.
