2020 prices?
I've had prices from pillenger and ocean for August 2020, I was just wondering if anywhere else is quoting for then too?

Flights are not even scheduled for that period all price are pure guesses by the travel agent no one even knows if te flightsvtheyvare quoting will even run. You need to wait until 11 months before you return date to book when the prices are released you will probably save money if you wait until after then.
We are going back next August, 2019 and wil, start looking at flights then but want book unless we ge5 a cracking deal until BA sale at Christmas |

I spoke to Ocean Florida today about a 2020 quote and asked if the price would stand as flight prices weren't out and they said yes they commit to a price now.
I would imagine they look at prices for the corresponding period this year and factor in a certain percentage increase |

They are making a guess and pumping some contingency on top there will also be a couple of conditions that will allow them to up the price if fuel goes up or currency fluctuates but guess what if fuel price plummets or the pound rises you won’t get anything off. In edition to this the flight that they sell you may not exisit I believe that AA have scrapped a route this year from stansted an dalso TC from Glasgow.
The travel agent has no idea what offers Disney will have free dining gift cards or room rates etc. Again if you book this there will be T’s and C’s allowing them to increase the price if their supplier ups the cost and with Star Wars opening I suspect these will go through the roof. In addition to this they have no idea what Disney or universal refers will happen at this point, I know sometimes they only give 8minths notice but at over 2 years out you have less chance. Can you get an insurance policy that covers you for a trip two years away ? I don’t know. There is no possible advantage in booking now for 2020 you can plan now and you can save but booking anything else now is only to the advantage of the travel agent not you. Booking anything now, other than perhaps a Villa direct for over two years away is incoherently stupid unless you have money to burn. Edited at 05:07 AM. |

Unless there is a specific villa you want (the one i stay at gets booked 2years in advance, usually as dates are released on rolling calender!) then everything else a TA will charge you is only a guess, weighted heavily towards increasing profit for them. Just save like mad until a year out or when free dining is released if thats what you want. I am not sure on theme park tickets if you want MYW tickets i am not sure if they have a use by date other than 14 days after first use.

Thank, we've had a brilliant price from Ocean but I'm reluctant to commit to it now in case circumstances change, we started playing
Manning last week and I've got £75 saved already, if we work hard I'm hoping we could pay a large lump sum off next year instead and be sure we can do it x |
