California Grill Brunch
I know it’s probably been asked before but what does this meal actually cost? It only gives you a rough guide on the menu and I’ve booked it for our next trip.
We are 2 adults and staying at SSR for 7 nights in September and just trying to decide whether to pay for DDP, especially now it includes the alcoholic drinks with the meals. We will also be visiting Epcot for the food & wine quite a lot while we are onsite. |

I think it was US$80 plus tip. Includes unlimited mimosas! One of the best meals I've had anywhere (it's now my must-do each trip).

I have a couple of questions- I hope you don’t mind me jumping on the thread?
What is the dress code for brunch? I am under the impression you can take advantage of the viewing area for HEA? Do you have to have smart dress for this too?

The dress code for brunch is the same as dinner.
Regarding the viewing, you will be invited back to the restaurant in the evening to see the fireworks. I hadn't considered there being a dress code for this but as the majority of people there will be CG diners then I'd want to be dress up too just so I didn't feel awkward. |

I’ve reviewed the Brunch in my current dining report as well as in my last complete one. Links in my signature.
It’s worth every penny, a great experience. As in above post, the dress code is meant to be semi-formal and we like to dress up a bit (nice sundress and sandals for the girls, smart shorts and a shirt for the men) but last time we were there was just after the RunDisney 10k and loads of people were there in their running gear which was a bit of a swizz. |

The dress code is supposed to be no tshirts (polos are ok) and no shorts or jeans with open hems and rips. Unfortunately you know how it is.. people come from the parks and ignore it and they are too polite to say anything.
I went for Easter brunch and you had people in elegant dresses and men in suits sitting next to tables of flipop wearing people in ripped shorts and tank tops. I find it a little unfair to those who make an efffort but to be honest, the dress code is not mentioned very clearly when you book via website or app. Same with yaghtsman etc so I can see why it happens. |

I agree that they are unlikely to turn anyone away for not being dressed properly. But I have thought 90% of people were dressed smartly on each occasion I have been.
