What’s the latest you have booked September flights?

As the title says, what’s the latest and what have you paid for September flights, we decided this year we were going to play the long game as last year there were some amazing prices direct from Glasgow for late September so I’ve been watching prices daily but wow! In the last couple of days prices have gone up by 30-60% I don’t remember seeing such a hike before, does anyone know the reason for this? Have I missed something, starting to worry I’ve done the wrong thing so please share with me your prices and the latest you have booked , thank you xxx

You've missed nothing and I would not expect September flights to be cheap yet.

The Thomsons and TC flights tend to be in the 4-6-8 week timeframe when prices come down and for the other scheduled airlines like Virgin and BA in their sales. So normally for these at the end of August (although sometimes the end of June for a week or so also).

2 days before (we already had ESTA from previous trip) we paid just over £200 pp with Thomson from EMA ...Crazy prices so we just went, cheapest motel, no park tickets, drove around Florida x

We had to rebook our Florida flight from Glasgow a week before flying due to our original flight being cancelled because of the hurricane.
We flew out with Thomas Cook mid September and paid £400 each.
Very happy with TC and we are flying with them again this year.
