snack credits and Animal Kingdom Lodge

I have just booked a trip to Animal Kingdom Lodge in August 2019 and already can't wait! I know all resorts have a shop onsite and I was wondering if the shop at Animal Kingdom Lodge sold special snacks like it does in Animal Kingdom. I know that there is an amazing food/snack shop opposite Kilamanjaro safari as we have got stuff from there previously, but just wondered if they had the same stuff in the resort.

Many thanks in advance

Hi there,
We will also be at AKL in August 2019! When do you go?
What types of snacks were you particularly interested in? The shop at Jambo House is great and has a good selection and of course there is also The Mara (the quick service restaurant) where you can also use your snack credits

We go from the 8th to the 24th August! I was wondering about the snacks like the hippo marshmallow and the mickey crispy that has been made to look like a zebra or tiger etc

Th Mara has a great bakery section with lots of gorgeous cakes etc. Also a lot of other sweet and savoury stuff for snack credits.

Hmmm must admit I don't remember those particularly but as another dibber said the zebra domes can be purchased as snack credit yum 😊 there is plenty to choose from in the shop, we had loads of snack credits to use up on our last day and bought armloads whilst waiting for DME!
