OP specifically asked if $100 would be sufficient and 99% of answers were very helpful but you always get one or two that like to tell you how much there taking

how is you taking $14k for a 2 week holiday for 2 people relevant the OP needing advice on her budget, your obviously not on a budget and good for you, if you have it, spend it

but please realise it makes others (wether they post or just lurk) question the amount they are taking

We as a family of 2ad and 5ch budget $300 a day staying offsite and that's for everything apart from the weekly food shop. We never spend it all and then let it roll over until the end of the holiday and the kids get to blow out on toys etc in Wal-Mart.

Your $150 budget is more than enough 🖒 x

We spent $4k 2 adults one child. But we did a LLT of character dining. We definitely could have done it on $100-$150 a day if we’d have wanted

We re 2A2C staying onsite with DDP first week and offsite second week.

Our plan was to take $100 a day, thinking we would spend less in the first week and have a little extra in the second.

But with a little budget tinkering I'm taking $2000 for the 2 weeks ($140ish a day)

So I think you are spot on with your estimate.

Hi. Your $100 a day question depends pretty much entirely on two things. How much and where you plan to eat and how much ‘stuff’ you intend to buy. My DH and DS would spend more than that between two on food a day. I’ve been with my DD twice and we can eat on $100 a day, including one TS meal a day and me having a glass of wine with dinner because we share one QS meal a day and never buy more than one desert a day between two at one meal or another. That wouldn’t be enough to cover our shopping as well though. If you take cereal for breakfast you can save quite a bit. Remember TS meals incur a tip as well as the food cost.

As for ignoring the budgeting question and just lobbing it all on a credit card. Ignore that Muppet statement.

Really, as (most) others have said $100-150 per day for 2 is around the figure you’d probably want to consider

As with most holidays, we find some days will likely be cheaper than others and some may include shopping 👍
