We can drop into Ross on our way home.
Thanks for your honesty! 😬
Ross is a really good place to stop for a bit of a mooch on your way home.

There’s some lovely cafes there.

Victorias at the bottom of Broad Street almost opposite Station Street is a really cozy place to go, their food, cakes & coffee are wonderful. There’s additional seating upstairs so if downstairs looks full don’t be put off.

A relatively new place that has opened and is getting really good reviews is the Riverside Cafe at the bottom of Wye Street, they have outside seating and you’re right by the river so also worth a try if you’re visiting.

You won't be far from us. I love Herefordshire, just a pity about the city.

It’s really not that bad honestly!
There are two parts to the town both within five minutes walk , one is the “high town “ which has M&S , Primark , Boots etc the second newer part has next, Matalan , Waitrose , TK MAXX and eating places .
If you look at M&S there is a side street to the left it comes into Church st with some small cafes and independent small shops and then it opens up into the cathedral grounds .
It’s not a bad place to spend a half day or more if going into the Cathedral etc.
Parking can be expensive but the parking by the football ground is reasonable , two minutes from Waitrose and the old market shops.
Traffic can be a slow and busy but it depends which way you are coming into the city and where you are staying .
