No, standard rooms are fine. CBR is a lovely, lush resort, I loved walking around there.

I generally avoid pool rooms at all costs. I might pay for a lake view but not at CBR as your window surely will first and foremost overlook a walkway. I kept my curtain closed at all time because it was horrible having people walk past so close to the bedroom. Ugly resort nothing much to look at anyway.

We overlooked the carpark in Jamaica but to be honest we never looked out the window as we were on a walkway. Think Motel and your spot on. Rooms are small and dull so you wont want to be in them much.

Windows are small and covered by a net all day. The lake view is not that picturesque tbh. Would be better going for a preferred room only on the basis of near food and the best bus stop.the one which picks up guests first. Loads of bus stops in Caribbean and busses get busy.
