Also words used to create drama

For example

Serena Williams just retired injured from a match. The commentators, this is an utter tradegy...

Er no
Tradegy
an event causing great suffering, destruction, and distress, such as a serious accident, crime, or natural catastrophe.
"a tragedy that killed 95 people"

An utter tradegy is much more than a tennis match

Or maybe I'm being mean

I can’t stand it when women say,

“I’m a wine girl”, for example or “I’m a primark girl”.

Why do they refer to themselves as a “something” girl? I don’t get it! 😂

I also don’t like hubs or hubby.

Or choc or choccie or brekkie…

It makes me want to vomit when my fiancé’s parents call each other mum and dad. I’ve never ever known anyone else to do this and i just find it so nauseating.

We had a couple at work who (I assume) called each other mum and dad because one day I asked him something and he said “I’m not sure, I’ll see if Mum knows”. I wondered who he was talking about!

I call my wife ( don’t date say DW) ‘ mum’ when the kids are about. ( when talking to my wife not to the kids about their mum )

It did confuse me the other day when I realised I had two entries on my phone called ‘ mum’- my wife and my mum.

( I also had an entry for my wife under her first name )

Do I win the prize ?

I would say ‘go ask Dad’ but I wouldn’t say ‘Dad do you want a cup of tea’, he’s their dad not mine!
