It's interesting and a nice couple of hours of exploring, make sure you've got other things planned for the day though, it's not an entire day out.

We enjoyed it when we went about 6 years ago but I wouldn't say it is all day, depends how interested in it you are. When we went it was one of these places that your ticket is valid for a year afterwards so good value, although we didn't go again!

We went in September last year, it was one of my wife’s bucket list places to see. It’s a fascinating place if you have any sort of interest in what went on there.
We spent a good 4 hours or so looking through the various huts and marvelled at the replica Bombe machine. I think it was made a better day for us by the weather, which was lovely, which enabled us to stroll the grounds and sit by the lake, though some of the huts were very warm.

Thanks for replies. We actually have a day to fill while we in area. So half a day visit would be fine! Leaves some time for something else too. X

I really enjoyed my visit and can recommend one of the guided tours if they are still doing them at the moment.
I still find it remarkable the number of people who worked on the site and kept coming and going through the gates and how some people to this day keep the fact they worked there secret. |

I just came here to start a thread on the same thing! We’ve booked Bletchley and I was wondering how long it took to look around the whole place as I want to book a time for the computer museum too.

The Computer Museum doesn't take long to visit and if you have an interest in the history of computing seeing Colossus is amazing. The staff who we talked to were really helpful and we noticed that they even managed to grab the attention of some little ones visiting at the same time as us.

Spent an enjoyable afternoon there, so much to see and very interesting!
The Site is a bit spread out and think it was a short ish walk from car park, but took a while to find a spot to park., |

We lived in MK until recently
If the weather is nice and you want to fill the other half of your day then Willen Lake is lovely |
