New Bathroom update page 162

So today is the day Hubbie starts the new bathroom and already a problem the bath turned up with holes drilled for taps but we are having a bath fill 🤦🙄he’s already moaning saying it’s my fault as I said let’s get the bathroom designed & they’ve messed it up

He’s done 2 other bathrooms for us before this one is more work 😬
He’s doing electrics today, extractor fan & the pump
His new best friend, Tom you would be so pleased is Screwfix & Toolstation
I’m on tea making duty & calling B&Q to complain, but at least we haven’t got a fitter to delay
This could take a while as we already agreed he’s going to take his time
See you all on the other side 🤞🤞🤞
Thankfully we have a garage to store it all
I’m scared & stressed 😩😩😩might have to walk to town for Costa if it gets messy 🍰☕️😋

Frustrating that the wrong bath has arrived but that should be swapped out in a few days max. If not play holy hell with them.

As an aside if your Husband needs any plumbing gear Wolseley are excellent.

Oh Claire I know how you feel. We’re in the process of renovating ours. Completely gutted it, and I still can’t make my mind up about what tiles/toilet to get.

Good luck with B&Q, I hope you get it sorted and yes you definitely deserve a Costa and cake.

Exciting! I will watch with great interest. We have been holding off renovating our bathroom and en suite due to adding a loft conversion. Now we have decided not to do the loft conversion we can get cracking on the bathrooms. I’ve added it to my husbands ever growing list of jobs 😂

At least your bathroom items are stored in the garage, mine are under the bed, under the drawers in my room and in any other available inch in the house! I think it will be a long time before they are done so I’ll watch yours eagerly instead!

Who knew the tiles he put down over 10 years ago were so hard to get up 🤦😬☹️😩
Looks like he’s here for the day 😳
But the extractor fan is wired in ok it’s so quiet so hope it works ok 🤞

He needs to nip to HHS Hire and get a concrete breaker. £40 ish for the day and it will rip that floor up in 30 minutes. Not the type of tool you maybe buy as they are £400 to £1000 for a good one but my God they rip through stuff.

Edit. I like that fan, very smart.
