Booked, May 9th 2022 it is!
Two weeks this time, last visit was 10.
Flying into Haneda, then head to Disney from airport, 3 nights (2 full days) at Hilton Tokyo Bay and then move into Tokyo itself, Shinjuku area. Then to have two days in Osaka, 1 full day in Universal. That the basic plan, flights booked and the rest to do over the coming months. Fingers crossed world back to something like normal by then. |

Wooooo! Congrats! I’m still hoping I get to go November but if not will be looking to go early next year (just as soon as they get the borders open). Now at least you can start planning again

Basic plan
Land and go to Hilton Tokyo Bay for 3 nights. Move to Shibuya Stream for 3 nights. Then 2 nights in Osaka at Moxy hotel. Back to Shibuya Stream for rest of the holiday. Reserved all hotels bar Hilton as dates not our yet. Eeeek! |

Which flights did you end up with? Given the date I take it you didn't go for ANA award seats with Virgin after all?

No we did not, but might do yet!
Paid for ANA seats now so we know (ha! ) we are going, but the reward seats are not out yet for our dates. Once they become available, will look to see if we can get them and if we can, cancel the paid seats for a refund on them. Yes, there is a fee for cancelling , but even so would still be wayyyyyyyy ahead if we can get First or a business seats via reward seats. |

Fantastic! Will be interested to read how it goes. We have postponed ours a year, to next November.

We have still to book anything. To be honest after cancelled Japan trips this year and last year I just can’t summon up any enthusiasm at the moment.

We're trying again soon, but availability is not looking good... And you're right, knowing you're going sounds different now. This will (hopefully) be our third booking in First and we have yet to set foot onboard a plane. It doesn't help that they keep flying 777s with the new cabin right by our kitchen window nearly every day. Except, they're using those magnificent seats for cargo!
