BA vs Virgin - Insurance
Just pricing up for next year and Virgin are coming up cheaper than BA... until you come to the additional car insurance with Virgin
I have always travelled with BA so used to the fully inclusive car ... do I really need to pay £750 to upgrade the virgin hire care insurance from basic to fully inclusive?!? Seems such a lot of money |

If you don't upgrade to the full Virgin insurance you probably won't have CDW and you'll certainly only have SLI to the state minimum of $25k - you need $1m.
Have an accident that was your fault and injure some third party with only $25k SLI - hello bankruptcy. BA cars with Avis and Budget include the higher levels Try ditching the free car and use Andy at discountfloridacarhire/ using his "special offers" tab. Mick

I've never hired a car through Virgin so no personal experience but over my 17+ years on here I've seen scores of Dibbers who say just don't pick it up.
If you contacted Virgin to omit the car, knowing Virgin in my old cynical way, I bet they'd charge you an amendment fee. Mick
