Premier Inn Terminal 5
Hi, just wondered if anyone can help me out. We are flying with BA next August to Miami so departing from Terminal 5. I have no idea which Premier Inn l should be looking at booking? We will be 2 adults and 2 teenagers. I see buses run but I'm unclear about how easy this will be if they only run every 30 min. We won't have a car as we are being dropped off at the hotel. Thank you so much in advance!

We are flying from T5 in May (gosh can actually say that now!) and I have booked the Premier inn bath rd that is closest to T5. Opposite the Thistle.
There is bus stop right outside the hotel and the bus 423 takes you to T5. They run (currently) every 20 min or so. I think to make life easier I’m also going to use the bag collection service, it’s only something like £5 per case and they will collect in the morning of your flight from the hotel. We stayed here this Saturday just gone. Lovely hotel with buses running outside to terminal 5, limited parking (which won’t effect you) but very much recommended.

I’m thinking a taxi will only be a tenner and worth every penny?

The one on Bath Road is my usual! Get the train to Heathrow and then the free bus to the Premier inn. In the morning I use Uber to get back to the airport, costs a tenner at most, because the bus from there in the morning can be a bit unreliable.
