MCO to LHR VS Flight back cancelled in March 22 but still in booking (email error)

Just wondering if anyone else has had this, i had an email this afternoon saying our flight back in March is cancelled but checking online its showing its still there both to buy and on my booking, has anyone else had this ? nothing about the flight out on the 19th either ?

We’re sorry to let you know that your flight VS136 on 05-Mar-22 has been cancelled.

UPDATE : after being on hold for an hour and a half have spoken to customer service who could not see any cancellation on the flight, this was double checked so they think it is an error, i have been asked to send in the email so they can investigate further so fingers crossed it is !

I got this "We’re sorry to let you know that your flight VS109 on 25-Mar-22 has been cancelled." for our flight Man-Atl. As I paid on miles and used my credit card upgrade vouchers to UC I don't know what to do, I don't want to lose my cc upgrades I worked hard enough to get them.

seems strange, i did see the other week on another thread that there were some computer issues with cancelations and the flights were reinstated so I am hoping its that but I guess another phone call is going to be needed to sort it out

I've just been on the VA website and it says there's over a two hour wait on the phone lines, thankfully I've not booked anything else yet so hopefully will not be out of pocket.

Just spotted this on the email

"Please note, the cancellation will be processed this weekend, after which it will be reflected on your booking"

Why are they cancelling so far in advance? Is it possible the flight may be moving to another airport?

Yes I think thats a standard bit of the email, just checked my cancelled flight email for oct 21 and its exactly the same, i am going to try whats app as have a bit of time to sort this out

I was wondering if they are heading back to LGW as my flights are LHR as cannot believe they would be looking that far ahead, the strange thing is the flight out is not cancelled as well

That is what surprised me, I knew there was a chance it may be cancelled but was not expecting that until the New Year.
