Beach in Norfolk

Want to take my 2 year old grandson on a beach holiday next year. Looking for a nice sandy beach around the Norfolk area to focus my accommodation search on. Has anyone any recommendations please? TIA. 😊

Holkham, by far the best beach in Norfolk.

Another vote for Wells next to Sea.
Has a little train that runs near by and just down the road you can go to Blakeney and go out on a boat to see the seals

Winterton-on-sea fab beach & as you walk along the sea line the seals pop up watching you. We just back, check out the Hermanus Round Houses, lovely place to stay.

I’ve never found Cromer a great beach for kids personally. I’d suggest either staying in the Eastern caister / Yarmouth / gorleston area where you’ve also got things like joyland, the aquarium and hippodrome, new Marina centre and 2p machines at Yarmouth which provides good options when it rains, or going to the Northern shoreline to Wells and Holkham area, where you probably have more naturally beautiful spots but there’s less other entertainment. If good food is a major factor it’s definitely the northern coastline which has tons of fab places to eat
