Booking Adrs for 6 people on 3 separate bookings.

Hi,
Can anyone advise best way to do this please.
Going with our two adult kids and their partners and we all have our own separate bookings for tickets and rooms.
Do we have to link everyone on MDE and then one person makes all the ADRs for the 6 of us ?
For the highly popular restaurants if two of us tried would we be able to both secure a booking for 6 and then immediately confer and cancel one? Or would that not be possible if all linked?
Do we all have to have a prebooked park reservation for booking a restaurant there? Even for an evening booking?
Getting myself confused 😖 so hope you get what I mean !
This is all so complicated now ... it certainly is a whole new world even having been multiple times!

You don't need to have everyone linked on MDE for ADRs as you don't need to specify which guests will be going. Just use your account and make a reservation for 6 people.

We will be in a similar situation next year so I'll follow with interest 😀 I agree that it's a whole new level of complexity , I feel like I'm starting a new despite several trips up to 2015

Will it let me book ADR only for the restaurants in parks it somehow checks I have booked for that day?

No, you can book in park ADRs without a park reservation. However you won't be able to enter to get to your ADR without one, unless you're park hopping and it's not your first park of the day.
