American Airlines what’s included..?

Due to the BA strikes on the 27th that’s now not happening we swapped our flights to the day earlier with an extra nights hotel courtesy of BA so not really bothered about changing them back as it suits us fine...but just wondering what’s included on the flight as most of the information on there website is poorly worded as most of it is about flying around the USA..I’m just talking drinks including alcohol and hand luggage thanks all...

All soft drinks, beer and wine are included.

Hand luggage is done on size rather than being weighed. I have taken a standard wheely cabin case no problem

AA are my favourite transatlantic carrier and in my opinion a hundred times better than BA

Thanks i have flown with them a couple of times in the past but just couldn’t remember..Ordinarily I don’t particularly mind who I fly with but the only down side to the plane on Thursday is it’s one of the older ones which only has the TVs above the seats..

Wembleygal's Reviews
Hotel Reviews: 1
International Economy - food, soft drinks, beer & wine
Domestic - soft drinks, booze & food for purchase

Premium Economy & Business - food, softs drinks, liquor

Be warned, Americans love dragging huge carry-ons, so overhead luggage space is always at a premium ...

ive used them many times and rate their service compared to BA and Virgin.

On flight, you will get - (my experience last month)
Drink service - soft, wine and beer.
Full meal approx 90 mins into the flight with drink
Drink Service again.

Drink Server again.
Snack - Pretzel / Pie
Ice Cream.
More drinks

Overall, the food and drink quality in eco is really good compared to others.

Found them better service wise than BA, frequent service & can go to the galley if they aren't coming round, lots of beer choice for those inclined.

Hope you don't mind me asking this op but we are looking at flying American Airlines from Seattle to New York (booking through BA) Do you know if we get the same allowance for checked bags as BA? (not too fussed about hand luggage as we'll only have 1 smallish hand luggage bag each?)

Thanks

I flew American to Dallas earlier this year.
The plane felt really nice and new with big clear IFE screens in the back of each seat.
The cabin crew were really lovely.
I was in PE and got food, drinks and snacks included - and they had ice cream 😁
The film selection decent. I think you can check what's available online before you fly.
I took my handbag which went under the seat and a backoack which went into the overhead.
I think they have the same allowance as BA, 2 cabin bags, one a handbag/laptop bag and another that can go in the overhead.

Happy travels!
