I am going to visit Savi’s Workshop − Handbuilt Lightsabers or Droid Depot. Can I have my lightsaber or droid sent to my Disney Resort hotel?

Yes. You are able to send your completed droid or lightsaber to your Disney Resort hotel. You may also have these souvenirs held at a designated location near the Disney’s Hollywood Studios Main Entrance for convenient pick-up as you exit the park.

You can definitely do this.

I preferred the afternoon slot because we want to have the droids with us whilst we are in the parks for a little while as they interact with things in the area which we would miss out on if we had them sent straight back to room. However we don’t want to cart them around all day, hence the afternoon booking.

With my multiple experiences of BBB (and a single CRT lunch), I think it would be wise not to rush the whole experience - the FGMIT are great and want each visitor to feel like the princess (or prince) they are, so they don’t rush things. You’ll have a much more pleasant and memorable experience if you’re not constantly clock watching.
