Best place/beach that you have been to on the East Coast.

Driving from Anna Maria Island to Miami for a cruise and have two nights to get there. Not really explored this Coast so just wondering if worth using the two nights there.

Vero Beach , in summer very untouristy as only a handful of hotels and no short term rental zoning , busier in winter when the snowbirds arrive, beach side restaurants, empty beaches and a very sweet , slightly arty town centre. We love it.
Disney has a DVC place there too but it's not actually in Vero Beach despite the name.
