Transferring a deposit with Disneyholidays.co.uk
**Admins please move if in wrong section**
Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer a deposit from a booking to WDW to DLP if booked through the Disney Travel Company? We are booked to go to WDW in June, but it doesn't look like we'll be able to make that trip happen but could maybe manage a few days in DLP instead. It's only the deposit we've paid so far so won't lose much, but just wondered if it would be possible to transfer it rather than lose it.

If you are talking about the £50 per person deposit then officially its a no, you will loose it by cancelling WDW. However if your DLP happened to be more expensive, then you may get an adviser who would forgo this rule and move it.
Again though, you maybe lucky and get an adviser who will only charge you the one off £50 admin fee and move the deposit. For future note, when booking WDW, book a room for one person only. Then at a later date add everyone else. This means only one £50 deposit but you secure the deal for anyone else added, even months before travel.

I thought that it said in the t&c you had to pay a percentage of the final amount if you cancel a booking? So you would lose the deposit along with that. I maybe wrong though and hopefully someone who has has to cancel before can help.
