😭 really hoping they do it a tiny bit at a time so the impact is minimal 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I imagine they will do it like Sleeping Beauty’s castle where it was behind scrim for months, as they won’t want it revealed bit by bit and they don’t like work being seen.

I can’t lie I’d be gutted if I was going as we went for a once in a lifetime California trip in 2018 and would have hated our first time to be with the castle hidden. I’d be extra gutted if I had a wedding or similar

However it is needed and whenever it’s done it’s going to be an inconvenience for people.

The only thing that makes it seem it may be a different method is them mentioning that happily ever after remains unaffected as I’m not sure how that would work with the projection mapping.

It looks gorgeous though can’t wait to see it hopefully next year!

It’s a shame for anyone going for a once in a lifetime trip but it’s certainly not something I would cancel over or not go to Disney at all. WDW is much more than Cinderella’s Castle.

I’m more disappointed that I’ll have to spend money on another Lego castle in the new colour

Pretty gutted about this news. We were already worried about the amount of construction currently underway but always had the fact the castle was still unaffected.

Only chance my parents will get to see their grandchildren at Disney and everywhere if got major projects underway.

Hopefully all of the work isn't too much of an eyesore but missing the castle is truly devastating.
