Thomson Package

Hi

for the first time ever I've booked a package to Florida, always done DIY in the past.

So for those who have done this, how does it work?

Do you need to see the rep at the airport & then they give you management company details to check in? Or is it a Thomson office you check in with?

Would appreciate any clarification thanks.

We used thomson 5 years ago for a package. Where are you staying? In villa or onsite?

They fly into Sanford. There was a Thomson desk there where I remember collecting a small pack of information. You then make your own way to the resort. I checked in job done.

There was a " meeting " the next day where the rep is available at certain times but I have never been to one yet.

You go to the office at Sanford and collect an envelope with everything in.

If its a villa you have to go and register with the agency the next morning (usually on the 192) and a total waste on your time... hence why we dont book a package anymore.

The trip to the agent is a pain I agree. However, we had to do it last year as well and it was a dibb villa we used.

Is there anything essential in this pack they give you? I'm staying onsite so accommodation is on MDE and I've done my own car hire, so I was just planning on going straight to the Alamo desk. I don't really fancy queuing up if it's just a bunch of advertising 😁
