Mobile Anyone used Budget?

Has anyone used budget recently? We usually use Alamo but prices have gone way too high and budget is coming out nearly half the price. We had 7 seater mini van in November with alamo and have to say it wasn’t great at all not cleaned lots of scratches. Can anyone help

Budget are fine. Unfortunately no skip the counter facility available with them so it means you'll have to go to the counter and deal with the sales pitch. Depending on which airport you're arriving at depends on how busy it'll be. MCO tends to have lengthy queues. They assign you a vehicle so no choice. I've found previously they're similar in fleet to Alamo but it really depends on luck of the draw.

I used budget last year when I went(my first year driving over there).

We got in to MCO late so and had a night booked in the hotel that in the airport.
Got up early the next morning and went down and got the car, it was pretty early, so was no one else around

Service was good, got to pick from a few different models.
Wasn't much of a sales pitch, i ended up going for the return the car empty option.
As I wasn't sure where to fill up the car on the way back and thought that'd be easiest option.

Yes used in Canada. Not impressed. It was ran from same desk as Avis. We were only hiring for a 4hr journey from A to B. They gave us a car that had not been cleaned inside or out after the last rental (not just unwashed -looked like an entire family had lived in it, on a beach for a fortnight). Anyway, we complained but were told take it or leave it, we are Budget for a reason and we know you are only driving from Quebec to Montreal.

My goodness what dreadful customer service. If I had been faced with that I would have driven around the block, gone straight back and said it was pulling to the right and dangerous!
