Mobile Virgin flydrive?

I don't normally consider fly drive but for my dates it's working out a good price. The only problem is it not giving me all the car options the flydrive is for 4 but we usually book a 6 seater as DS has a wheelchair. Does anyone know if I call will they be able to offer this? I'm only asking as last time I called virgin it took forever.

I just checked for you. How weird! They only load cars up to a full size saloon. Sorry no further help I can offer. I would try live chat.

But in 23 years of going to Florida 3 times a year I have never found a VH flydrive cheaper than a DIY flight with VA and car hire on top.

Thanks for checking.
It works out the same price ( I think depending on the bigger car)
And it means I can book with a deposit, we don't normally book fly drive but just paying deposit would work out well for us at the moment.

That is a huge plus I agree. Have you tried BA as their flydrive prices can be awesome. However that's Gatwick and may not suit you.

I would normally consider Gatwick but with it being Christmas I think Manchester would be better less traffic to contend with.

We fly from Man too, and unlike mr Tom Morrow, we often find VH cheaper than VA diy... different dates I guess! + the deposit thing is useful.

However, the tick with VH is to phone them (sorry!) and say you dont really want that car, can they book the CHEAPEST car, with the LOWEST insurance for just 1 day. That will knock more pounds of the price and you can then book the car separately.

Incidentally, VH have a LOT of pricing latitude. Never just accept their price, ALWAYS hmmm and say you can do cheaper DIY with VA and they'll usually go away and find a larger discount for you.

Good luck!
