Red Lobster restaurants are undergoing their first big makeover in a decade, with lighter colors and more emphasis on open floor plans and views of the newly redesigned kitchens.
Four restaurants with the new design, dubbed "Coastal Home," have recently been built, including two in Central Florida. All others will have the new look as they are constructed, say officials of the Orlando-based chain. The design evokes an atmosphere of "relaxation at a seaside retreat," said Edna Morris, who was promoted to president of Red Lobster earlier this year. "Coastal Home gives our restaurants a brighter, more colorful, more open feel." Me and DW love the Red Lobster restaurants in Florida and go at least once when we're there. jj... <img src="http://www.thedibb.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/non-cgi/emoticons/bottleplus.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':bott'> |

Red Lobster is always on our "must do" list especially when they have their Lobster Feast season where you can get two small lobster tails on the side for $6.
The one on I drive down by the convention centre used to be their "test" site where they'd try out the new menus before releasing them on the chain.

I too love Red Lobster and we always make a trip to one while we're away, but your knowledge of eating establishments is second to none. Managed to get a snow crab legs, shrimp and Lobster tail special while there last time, hard to get a better combination. Anyone else been to the Boston Lobster feast near the Florida Mall, all you can eat $19.99. Anne didn’t like it much because you had to help your self. Excellent choice of Lobster, fish and seafood though. |

YEP I like it there as well, all you can eat Lobster, gets a little messy after a few . love the VW Beatle car they have outside with a big lobster on it. I see they're now on I Drive as well, I'll add them to me January eatery list though these days the kids wont leave I Drive till they've been to Chuckie Cheeses.
