I would love to eat there but DH is a very plain eater. Going with a friend next year so may send DH off for a burger from the quick service and eat with the friend instead then meet up for drinks in the Dahlia Lounge.

We did a mosaic craft class one afternoon in the Toledo lounge, which was great fun. It’s popular, so book well in advance!

Stayed at Gran Destino now 7 times - it's become my favourite on site location.
The tower feels like a deluxe, as others have said, and the price premium is 100% worth it over the other resort rooms IMO for enormous rooms and fantastic bathrooms.
Recently had room 581 - worth requesting - it's a corner room with amazing views (standard view).
The location of Coronado on property is excellent with it being pretty much in the middle and easy to access all parks, and Springs just being a little further (15mins on bus).

I've stayed in a standard room, a king room, solo, with family and with a friend and have found them to be outstandingly comfortable and the smell in the lobby is wonderful!

Yes we stayed last year in November for 3 nights and wish we had stayed longer. We also had the riviera resort DVC room and preferred grand destino room. I would definitely say it was a deluxe resort too

We are staying here for the first time in August. Our usual moderate POFQ disappointed us last time we went so will be interesting to compare.

Definitely putting in a room request for a higher floor.

It sounds wonderful, did 581 have views of the parks ? They’d only got water views when we booked I’m just wondering what we’ll see 😀
