Very scary for you and your family.
Glad you are ok.
I had this once, although not as extreme and luckily i was at home, but I too thought I was having a stroke, the side of body and face went tingly and I felt weak.
Managed to call my mum, crying as i was only early 20’s but luckily it passed and haven’t had it since but yes was definitely linked to my migraines.

Morning. Thanks for all the replies. It’s both reassuring and mind boggling that this (very much the same as a stroke/mini-stroke) can be linked to migraines!
I really hope it was a one off event and doesn’t happen again. I can cope with how my migraines “normally” start as I can easily pop an ibuprofen and reduce the effects. This was something else….!

Anyway, I’m taking a couple of days off work to just relax.
Might just spend more time on here planning for next year! 😁

So glad to hear you're OK, but what an almighty fright you've had.
Well done to your dog, that's so heartwarming to hear he stayed to look after you.
As an NHS worker I'm delighted to hear your positive experience.
Take it easy, I also suffer aura migraines and they can be brought on by walking for me too especially if I've not eaten anything.
Big huge clap for Alfie! X

We’ve ordered Alfie a new harness and lead (Disney) and he has been given a few extra treats than normal and the good chicken (normally for us hoomans). If he’ll sit nicely when it arrives I’ll get a picture of him sporting it.
