Hi

When we went last time we didn't do this ride of my son didn't like the thought of it. He is now 12 and wants to go on it

If you had to describe this ride to someone that knows nothing about it, what would you say?

Im trying to see if we are all going on it, or just DS and DH

Thanks

You know when you go over a flyover and your tummy goes... times 100!

But it's such a fabulous ride. In my opinion the best theming and build-up of any ride and although it makes me really anxious beforehand, it is all part of the experience. Go for it!

It's the best ride in Disney I reckon...the build up and anticipation is worse than the actual drop,it really is great fun, like I keep telling my 4 year old Grandson, you have to try things to see if you like them,if you don't like it,then you don't need to do it again. Go for it,it's brilliant.

I was really scared the first time I went on it. As soon as it finished I went back on!

Agree it is a ride that has to be done. The PP who described the tummy effect is spot on. My DD was 8 when we first rode it. She actually found the pre-ride stuff more unsettling than the ride itself but it put her off going again. This year, she's 10 and has asked to give it another shot. Fingers crossed
Just to add, don't ride this shortly after eating. Dh looks like he's trying really hard not to throw up in our ride pic

The build up is great (in a nerve-wracking kind of way) I always have sweaty palms and butterflies in my stomach. DH always puts his hands in the air for the first drop but I'm never brave enough!

It goes up, moves forward and then does the 'scary' part of the elevator going up and down.
I didn't know it moved forward before doing the drops and for some reason that really freaked me out! It's one of my favourite rides and we go on it as much as possible but I wished I'd have known before the first time that it doesn't just go up and down!

It's my favourite ride ever, it never gets boring, I love the theming and the ride itself is just brilliant, me & dd scream laughing and pull different poses when your picture is taken, it's such great fun & you need to put your hands in the air, so much better than holding on as you get lifted out your seat
