I was never really a fan of PI but I can understand why ppl like it. And as for calling the changes new and 'one of a kind' that baloon concept sounds exactly what they've already got at Disneyland Paris, just outside of the New York hotel. It seems to me as they've tested the idea there and now they know it works they're brining it over like they did with Lights Motors Action.

Personally I am disappointed by the change - especially the loss of The Adventurers Club. I think there is a need for adult venues, although the loss of the other clubs doesn't mean as much to me. It all goes back to the business philosophy of market segmentation - I think the family market is adequately catered for elsewhere in Disney, and I don't see how making PI an extention of Westside or DTD will increase turnover beyond the potential negative of not catering for the 21-30 year olds. It must be a policy decision based on avoiding increased security etc. It will I imagine be a boon for Universal as City Walk will be the undoubted leader in this area now. I do hope The Adventurers Club lives on in some form though.

I'm really disappointed too we normally leave the children with parents and go to the comedy warehouse for a couple of evenings and really enjoy this adult only time.
I think disney does need to leave a bit of adult only space it's not like they are really short on space - they could use somewhere else to develop some of these bits

Although I never went to the clubs at DTD, I can totally appriciate those who will mourn the loss. It does seem extreme of Disney to remove all of the clubs.
