The story in a nut shell is the Dino Institute was founded and along came all the students that were studying at the institute so the locals got in on the act and turned the gas station into a souvenir shop and turned the car park into a carnival for the students and tourists visiting the institute. That is why Dinoland looks a mess because it is supposed to look like that, next time you visit the carnival section look at the floor and you can see the car parking spaces!

Claire I wasn't fussed about it and watched it cause everyone was banging on about it and I loved it, an amazing film full of visual brilliance

Didn't they plan a Ye Olde Worlde "Beast Land" originally? This just seems like high tech version of bringing the "legends" into the park

I enjoyed the film of Avatar and I think Disney can make a great ride out of it
I see how it can fit with AK, not a fan of the dinoland area myself so wouldn't be fussed if it went, but others would.
Also, AK is about the animals as well, not just rides, hence why there aren't as many as in other parks.

I never liked the idea of Avatar as a film its just not personally my sort of film at all, but saying that it did visually look very good! and it will be interesting to see how they make it into a land or a ride...whatever it is there doing? either way I imagine the theming will be amazing!

Still haven't watched the film but pleased... anything that adds something new without the removal is good news. AK needs something more!

Heck this might allow them to close Everest to fix the yeti!

I dont get this at all TBH, I would much rather they did the beastly kingdom they always intended. Not a fan of the film and I don't think it suits AK...

DH & DD2 loved Avatar but I wasn't a great fan, saying that though, I'm pretty sure that Disney will make a fantastic attraction out of it whatever they choose to do.
