Mmmm that key lime pie looks sooooo good. I've been a few times but never had space for dessert. Gutted about the red velvet chips ahoy...had higher expectations! Great report 😊

Hi Im enjoying your report so far.

I don't think we could eat at Flame Tree if you get birds joining in (especially that big one ) my daughters petrified of them!

I haven't been to Ohana's, its on my list for next year but Im not sure.

Bahama Breeze looks great - especially those desserts - and even better if they were free

Looking forward to more.

Thank you, and yeah those cookies were awful - didn't live up to expectations at all. Should've just stuck with oreos

Ahaha you have to try Flame Tree, there are plenty of other seating areas away from the birds, theres some overlooking the lake and Everest which are nice.

DAY 4 - 21 Aug

Today was something a bit different, we had a 2 hr airboat ride planned for 12, and then planned on doing a bit of Hollywood Studios in the evening and seeing either Fantasmic or the Star Wars fireworks. After a bit of a lie in we set off for breakfast at Ihop.

Ihop, 192

Was busy, but we were seated straight away as the restaurants quite big. No prices unfortunately as their website doesn't show them and I didn't make note this trip... sorry

Choice of syrups at every table

Coffee for my father

Iced coffee for my mother

And iced tea for me

Pick a Pancake Combo
This is what I had (and what I had every time we visited on this trip ) and of course I had to get the red velvet pancakes and oh my god they were really good. You get two pancakes plus hash browns, eggs and bacon or sausage.

Mixed Berries Waffle
As per, my mother had the waffle - minus the whipped cream.

Strawberry Cheesecake pancakes
And my dad went for the stack of 4 strawberry cheesecake pancakes which were really good.

None of our mains were more than $9 each, another really tasty, cheap and quick meal from Ihop.

Boardwalk Bakery

After our airboat we went to the Boardwalk for a late lunch.

Roast Beef and Salami Sandwich $10.49
Doesn't look the best as it was taken under direct sunlight, but my dad said it was really nice. Apparently it has 'with provolone, sweet pickled peppers and herb mayonnaise on house made ciabatta'. Typical he didn't wait til I got my phone out

Caesar Salad with Chicken $11.49
Me and mum had this. It was nice, though those large chunks of bread/croutons were lethal - nearly took a tooth out

The food was nice enough, though this was one of the warmest days. My back was like a bloody river plus I'd left my sunglasses in the car and of course we sat where all the flies were
